Opensolaris on x86

I am thinking of installing Solaris on my pc.

I looked for Solaris oriented communities here on LJ but I was dissapointed and could not find any. I checked the HCL and was shocked to see my pc was fully supported including all my peripherals.

I have a few questions before I install and would like someone with a background with Solaris on X86.

1.) Are USB devices supported? I have an ipod-mini, a Sans 512meg stick, and usb keyboards and optical mice
2.) Is NTFS read supported? I love the NTFS support and I use Windows heavily (I like my games, paint shop pro, and .net software)
3.) Any gotcha's or things I should know that make Unix different from BSD's and Linux distro's during an install?
